The Production Support Analyst is responsible for monitoring system and network operations responding to any service issues that arise and carrying out routine systems administration tasks. Monitor systems and network conditions and perform backups and escalate incidents as required.
Primary Responsibilities 'Directs the necessary daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment. 'Trains and directs second and third shift Production Specialists 'Organizes and leads the focus on improved productivity levels by improving processes and stressing the efficiency of Specialists work 'Supports quality and productivity by understanding job standards for each function, and evaluates performance variances in order to identify root cause and corrective action 'Identifies and resolves all job scheduling issues 'Reviews problem tracking reports for accuracy 'Communicates all Change Control tasks and reviews production turnover with the Operators 'Duties may require ability to lift up to 50 pounds Additional Responsibilities 'Assist with Blade upgrade/installations 'Identify and resolve Odin issues 'Tandem administration tasks 'Application upgrades as requested With a main focus on file transfer set-up Knowledge / Skill Requirements 'Knowledge of Momentum, Odin, ConnectDirect, Tidal, BARR, and Tandem application and O/S software 'Knowledge of Network configuration 'Knowledge of ATM,VISA and NYCE processing 'Knowledge of VRU's 'Ability to determine the nature of computer hardware and system software problems and communicate technical guidance to users 'Ability to learn and support new systems and applications 'Knowledge of UNIX, Windows, Networking |
